Gulf Coast Vacations uses Authorize.net’s hosted payment form for online card payments.
This keeps card entry inside Authorize.net’s controlled form. The guidance below helps you recognize a genuine request and understand what happens after payment.
Recognizing a genuine payment link
A genuine link begins with https://gulfcoastvacations.com/make-a-payment/, uses HTTPS, and contains a private random code. It normally expires 72 hours after issue and is intended only for the named booking.
The page shows the Gulf Coast Vacations website header and footer, property and booking details, exact amount, payment purpose, remaining schedule, support details, and policy links before it opens the Authorize.net form.
Warning signs
Do not pay if a message asks you to email or text a complete card number, security code, or card image; requests payment to an unexpected person; uses a misspelled or unrelated website; hides the amount; or pressures you to ignore your booking confirmation. Gulf Coast Vacations will never ask you to send full card details by email, chat, or text.
If anything looks unusual, close the page and call (941) 681-2002 using the number on our main website.
Card entry and accepted cards
After you confirm the amount and authorization, the card fields open inside Authorize.net’s hosted form. Accepted brands are displayed on the payment page and may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover according to our current merchant settings.
Use accurate billing information. Authorize.net and our merchant account may check the billing address, ZIP code, card security code, velocity, and other fraud signals.
Information we do and do not receive
We receive transaction status, payment amount, Authorize.net transaction and profile references, card brand, last four digits, response information, and relevant fraud or address-check results. We do not receive or store your complete card number, card security code, or expiry date.
After you submit
Keep the window open while we retrieve the authoritative transaction result from Authorize.net. A green confirmation appears only after that check succeeds. We then send the appropriate receipt or booking confirmation. Avoid submitting the same payment twice.
If confirmation is temporarily unavailable, the payment may still be processing. Do not assume it failed and do not immediately try again. Contact us or wait for the confirmation email.
Declined or held payments
A decline means no automatic retry will occur. A fraud hold means the transaction needs review and is not the same as final approval. We will provide a deliberate next step, such as a new secure link. We never automatically cancel a booking solely because a scheduled charge was declined.
Protecting your private link
Do not forward the link or post it publicly. Use a device and network you trust, keep your browser current, and close the page after completion. Ask us for a replacement if the link has expired or may have been shared.
Our security approach
The payment page is designed to keep card entry within Authorize.net Accept Hosted and reduce Gulf Coast Vacations’ exposure to card data. We use encryption, restricted staff access, audit records, short-lived hosted-form tokens, signed gateway notifications, and authoritative transaction checks. PCI validation and merchant-bank requirements are reviewed separately and regularly.
